Sell to Us - Buylist Guide

How to sell us cards using our BuyList

Our BuyList is a public tool provided to submit buy orders that shows an approximation of what we would pay for specific cards. A buy order is a collection of cards submitted through our BuyList for sale. In order to submit a buy order, you must be logged in to your account.

To begin, look up a card you would like to sell in our search bar. Then, toggle the BuyList on by clicking on this icon:

This mode will remain on until you leave our website or toggle it off. While the BuyList mode is on, you can add cards to a Sell Your Cards cart, which is a cart that holds your current buy order. To do so, click on the button on the bottom right of the card.

Once you have finished adding cards to your buy order, click "Begin Checkout" in your Sell Your Cards cart. You will be asked for:

A return address in case something needs to be returned to you. (Note that your account can store multiple addresses if needed)

Indication of how you would like to receive your funds. We offer Store Credit (+20% boost), PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash, or Check.

Once submitted, a buy order has 5 steps it will go through to reach completion. You will receive an email for each step your buy order proceeds through.

1) Requested

You have submitted your buy request to the store.  An employee will review your request including the items you have submitted, and the quantity of each item before approving or declining your order.

2) Awaiting Receipt

Once your order is approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail instructing you on how to sort your cards and deliver them to the store (either in person, or by mail).

3) Grading

Your order has been received by the store and is now queued to be graded. Our next available grader will look over your buy order to grade it and see if there are any submission discrepancies. Card condition affects the value of your cards and the offer, which will be adjusted as necessary.

4) Graded

Your order has been graded, and an offer has been sent to you. You can review the grades of your item from your buy order. Your buy order can be seen under My Account, Sell Your Cards, and click the order number. At this phase you can approve the offer given, or request some items be returned to you. We are open to negotiation, but note that there are times when our offer is final.

5) Complete

Once you have approved the offer, if you selected Store Credit as your payment method your account will automatically be credited (including the +20% boost). Other payment methods are handled manually and will be coordinated directly with you. As with each step before, you will receive an e-mail upon payment to confirm.

Questions and Clarifications

What is the number being displayed on the Buylist?

All prices listed are the cash prices we are offering for Near Mint cards. Price deductions will be applied to cards that are in a lesser condition, as necessary. You will also receive a 20% increase on your offer if you would like to be payed in Store Credit, which won't reflect until after your buy order has entered step 4.

Offers on non Near Mint cards / Our Grading Standards

We grade our cards to TCGplayer standards, which can be reviewed here.

The primary grading scale we use is as follows:

Near Mint

Lightly Played

Moderately Played

Heavily Played

Damaged

For each condition below Near Mint, we offer approximately 20 percentage points less (from 100) of the Near Mint Buylist Price.

For vintage collections of MTG, Pokemon TCG, and Yu-Gi-Oh, which generally consist of cards from the 1st three years or so of the game, the price of non-Near Mint cards can be extremely volatile. As a consequence, we offer less for these types of cards when non-Near Mint printings are much less valuable than their Near Mint counterparts.

I don't see my card on the Buylist. What if I want to sell a card that isn't on the Buylist?

We buy most cards from the following games:

Magic: The Gathering

Yu-Gi-Oh

Pokemon

Lorcana

Star Wars: Unlimited
